When I first discovered positive parenting, I felt that I had found a guideline to follow with my children that had not been familiar to me until then. I tried to learn as much as I could about it, and 8 years ago, when I started following it in practice with my children, it gave me the answers I needed to deal with all my parenting challenges.

Positive parenting is a set of parenting practices that helps children cooperate with their parents because they want to, not because we impose it on them. No yelling, no punishment and no threats – and it’s based on developing a warm, supportive relationship with our child from which everything else flows.

But how is this supportive relationship built? Every family is different, every parent has their own desires and values, and each age of our children has different challenges. It is difficult to have all the answers to every single matter that a parent will inevitably have to face with his/her child.

And of course, what is scarce in a parent’s life, is time. The time to be informed, to compare information, to choose what suits him/her and to apply it with confidence to his/her own family.

With this in mind, I set out to create ParentingToday. I looked for partners with the same passion and perspective on children and modern education, and we created a Parent Coaching platform that aims to give parents the answers they are looking for in every issue that concerns them with their child, with practical solutions, which greatly facilitate their parenting role, and help them build a warm relationship with their children.

My wish is that every child will have this warm, supportive relationship with their parents, which will allow them to support their own children when they themselves become parents.

My university studies are in Business Administration, a field that has always fascinated me and that has helped me make my vision for ParentingToday a reality. I studied entrepreneurship at Babson College in Boston, USA, and I hold an MBA from SDA Bocconi in Milan, Italy. I am very proud to be a Peaceful Parenting Coach Trained by Dr Laura Markham. I was blessed to discover Peaceful Parenting early on when my children were very young, and by getting acquainted with all the details of Dr Laura’s extraordinary parenting model and applying it in my parenting, I have also been able to re-parent myself. What a wonderful gift to be given in life.
